VMware is integrating performance, capacity and configuration management with the launch of vCenter Operations, in an effort to give users more control over growing virtualized IT infrastructures, the company said on Tuesday.

VMware's Paul Maritz has given up his title of president to four senior executives who will serve as co-presidents of the EMC-owned company. There is something I always wanted to know and that is how VMotion(yes I am using the old school name on purpose) came to life. After some research on the internet and even on the internal websites I noticed that there are hardly any details to be found.
